ELECTROLYSIS FOR TEENS AND ADOLESCENTS
Puberty is one of the most significant rites of passage in a person’s life. It marks the transition from childhood to young adulthood and along with it comes intense hormonal changes. What does that mean? Well, you may grow extra hair in places where it shouldn’t. For girls, you may grow upper lip hair that makes you feel like you have a moustache. For boys, you may grow thick eyebrows that make you feel like you have only one eyebrow (and not two). Don’t be embarrassed!
This hair may be unwanted, but it is completely normal. If you are a young person reading this, talk to your parents or a trusted adult who cares about your well-being. If you’re a parent or guardian, finding a Certified Professional Electrologist that you can trust to assess your child’s or teen’s unwanted hair needs is solved.
At Brooks Electrolysis, we offer a permanent solution rather than a lifetime of using temporary methods like tweezing, shaving, threading, depilatory creams, waxing, bleaching, or abrasives. Please note that children or teens under 16 must provide signed consent from a parent or guardian.
